3D printers are a new up and coming technology, that are being used in everything from prototyping, food, to the medical field

3D printers like the ones I use is a desktop version that uses heated plastic extruded out of a nozzle to build up the layers of the print.

The filament plastic I use is called ABS plastic. That is the same plastic used to make Lego bricks.

There is not just ABS plastic but there is also PLA plastic, Wood, Rubber and other new filaments that are being made every day.

I build the Rostock 3D printer using the Davinci 3D printer that was a fun project and I learned a lot on how to take care of and maintain a 3D printer.
